Assistant Manager, Human Resources (Recruitment)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a small team to provide strategic HR advice on recruitment plans proposed by service units/departments, ensuring proper execution of related procedures;
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment activities including job postings, interviews, selection, onboarding, and exit formalities for assigned service units/departments;
  • Support manpower planning and headcount budgeting exercise by collaborating closely with internal stakeholders;
  • Oversee staff movement processes such as promotions, transfers, and departures in compliance with the Kuk’s policies and relevant regulations;
  • Review and update various HR policies and procedures to align with the Kuk’s standards and legal requirements;
  • Manage the preparation of HR reports and analytics for management and external stakeholder’s review;
  • Drive various HR projects and initiatives, including performance management, internship programs, employer branding, staff recognition/ welfare programs; and
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors from time to time.

Our Requirements:

  • The appointee should possess the following qualifications, experience and competence:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related discipline;
  • Minimum 8 years of solid HR experience, preferably gained in NGOs, Quasi-Government/ large organizations;
  • Strong knowledge of Hong Kong employment ordinances and regulations;
  • Proactive, attention to details, with excellent multitasking and problem-solving skills;
  • A strong team player who can work independently and also in a team environment;
  • Strong communication and coaching skills are essential;
  • Proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese;
  • Proficient in MS Office and Chinese word processing; and
  • Candidates with lesser experience will be considered for Senior Officer position.
